16 Weeks

How far along? 16 Weeks

Baby's size? Onion (may favorite veggie)

Weight Gain? 12 pounds.  Yep.

Maternity clothes? I can still wear my dresses but I can do maternity clothes as well

Stretch marks? I've gained and lost weight so much throughout my lifetime so I've had stretch marks since high school.  Yay me.

Belly Button in or out? Should stay an inny like last time.

Sleeping? Pretty good although my dreams are weird

Foods I am loving? Nothing.  I hate that I get no pregnancy cravings

Foods I'm hating? Still everything

Movement? Flutters and slight kicks

Best moment this week? Hearing Dos' heartbeat on Tuesday

Symptoms? Still extremely sick to my stomach

Gender? We find out on August 29th at 11:00 a.m.

What I miss? I'm good this week.  Not really missing anything yet

What I'm looking forward to? Finding out the gender.

Milestones: Starting to get a visible belly

Emotions: Doing pretty good this week.  I've managed to keep my emotions in check this week.  Well, minus spending the entire afternoon in tears at my desk for being written up.  That was SO much fun

I'll probably start doing belly photos next week.

  1. Woohoo!! Bring on the belly pics!

  2. Hey Valerie it's Kelly Counts.(I'm posting as anonymous because I don't have any of the other accounts they let you comment as, and/or I don't remember the passwords. lol) Anyways, since you posted a link on Facebook I stop in from time to time and you have such a cute and upbeat blog here. Oliver is a doll. You have really built a mostly wonderful life for yourself in a short time! Bless your heart for keeping your chin up even w/ work being such a misery. You know I KNOW! I guess compartmentalizing it is key and I really really suck at that. You rock! ♥

    1. Oh my goodness!!! Thanks so much for stopping by Kelly!

I am trying really hard to make lemonade out of lemons. Oooooh how difficult that is these days.

  3. At least you're pregnant. Yours truly here put on 8 pounds in a month and I'm NOT pregnant.
