It's Ok Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's ok...

...that yesterday was craaaazy on social media and I'm glad it's over.

...that I put my foot down and gave my mom a semi-ultimatum. Seriously it's fine you don't want to move just don't keep telling me you are. Until you get your act together,  I'm not Facetiming with you anymore. Hmph.

...to be so thankful for where I am right now but wish for life to be so much more.

...to let the bitterness of my education go. Seriously, otherwise this is going to eat me alive.

...to drop Oliver off a little early for daycare because he was being a brat this morning.

...to run our portable ac all.the.time now since we are on budget billing with our electric company. Suck it SCE&G. Okay maybe not quite that much but that takes my worry down a notch.

...to secretly pray that JCC gets a first shift job so I can beg her for help at night once Dos gets here.

Well we made it to Friday guys!!!!  Well, I should say Friday eve. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week.

  1. It's totally ok for you to want me to have a first shift job.

  2. It's so hard to let bitterness about anything go. I applaud you for trying.

I hope you're enjoying that portable AC. I can feel the cold blast right now!

What was Oliver doing this morning?! Ripping your hair out? Blowing spit all over you? Those are Elliott's most recent tricks. That and BITING me when he nurses. Spencer never did that. It sucks.

  3. Oh man, moms...gotta love 'em huh? Yes, social media is CRAZY...not feeling the love for it either right now! Yes, holding onto bitterness will just make your own life miserable. I've had to learn the hard way that I am not hurting anyone but myself by letting things bother me. Awww, I can't imagine that sweet boy ever being a brat...haha! I say that as I recall a few times when Brody has also been a brat...like biting me when I don't pay attention to him. We are starting to use time out to try to make him understand that is not a proper way to get attention. I guess that's life with a toddler (or almost toddler). :-)
