Humpday Randoms

I can't believe we've gotten to Wednesday already!  I don't know if it's just me but it feels like since I had Oliver the weeks seem to fly by. So, in the spirit of Wednesday, a few randoms....

Josh wants to go see Batman. I'm irrational and scared to see it. But I'm going to try and suck it up and deal. I may spend most of the movie in the bathroom but whatever.

Oliver is never going to crawl. Sigh.

I scheduled my elective gender ultrasound on Wednesday August 29th at 3:15.  I'm so ready to find out what Dos us is!!!  The wait is killing me.

I think we decided to let Oliver and Dos share a room for a while regardless of what Dos is. Is that socially acceptable these days?

The future has been weighing very heavily on my mind and heart lately.

I am still feeling pretty close to awful these days. Today has been especially bad so far.

I'm already getting anxiety about Dos' baptism and that's like months and months away. I don't have many Catholic friends or relatives. Sigh.

I have been trying out some new features to upload videos and pictures. I am going to dump some old pictures from my phone. Consider this an Oliver montage!!

Well that's about it for today. I hope everyone is having a great week so far!!!  We can do this!!

  2. The top picture of Oliver is just adorable. So tiny!

Why are you worried about the baptism? I've been worried about Elliott's for months but I'm just curious if you are worried for the same reasons I was- mainly that he would scream and cry through the whole thing like his brother.

    1. I don't even remember that baby!!

As for the Baptism, I'm definitely terrified about the screaming or whining. Oliver was so embarrassing during his. I'm also worried about finding a Catholic godparent this time around. My cousin and his wife are Oliver's godparents and I do love them. However, I want Julia to be his godmother but I know I can't ask my cousin to be Dos godfather without his wife as the godmother. I hope that makes sense?

  3. I also wanted to say I think it is fine for them to share a room. I shared with my brother until I was 4 or 5. We turned out just fine.

    1. That's very reassuring. This whole sibling thing is so foreign to me. I don't know how to handle any of this.

  5. Awww, I also thing sharing a room will be just fine. I am sure Dos will be in your room for a while at first anyway to avoid baby's crying waking Oliver up. Brody and Evan have separate rooms for now, but I am looking forward to putting them together in another year or so...probably doing bunk beds. What could be better for boys? ;-) Sorry you are having all these anxieties, but this too shall pass! I can't wait to find out what Dos is! So fun! I love all the pics of little man, especially that big smile one and looking so cool in his shades!

  6. Stop worrying! It will be fine. Babies cry at baptisms and dedications. You come expecting that! :) Do what you feel is right for the godparents and if they can't deal then move on. Dos is you and joshs baby.

I've been told that boys are much slower then girls in development. So don't give up hope he WILL crawl :)

Give your future to God, he has big shoulders to carry your worries <3
