Sometimes and Always

First, I just wanted to say a quick thank you so much for your kind words on my last post.  I'm still having a rough time but I'm going to suck it up and deal with it.  Nothing else I can do about it, right?

Go say hi to Megan!!  We're both having girls around the same time.  Very, very exciting.

Sometimes I eat like a pig.  Whatever, I deserve it.
Always I regret it.  Literally, always.  Ever since I was a kid.

Pawleys Front Porch

Sometimes I buy Dos things and can't wait to try them on her.  (Okay, so I try them on Oliver...judge if you must).
Always I'm still completely overwhelmed by a girl.  I'm excited, don't get me wrong.  Just overwhelmed.

Sometimes I know I'll miss living down south, where it's warm and we have parks.
Always I stop to enjoy Oliver's first trip to the park and swing ride.  Seriously, the boy had a blast!!

Sometimes I truly wonder how Dos could possibly make my heart go crazy like this little boy does sometimes.
Always I know I'll figure it out.

Sometimes Life is hard, sucks and is really complicated.
Always Having this little guy in my life who wakes up JUST LIKE THIS every single morning makes it easier.

Sometimes People change.  Or don't realize how much they really liked or disliked something all along.
Always I still love them regardless of how they change.

Promise...she hated animals when I first met her

  1. Good gracious you do have a lot on your plate. I don't think God is punishing you just like he isn't punishing me because I'm not having to deal with the issues you are. Life just stinks sometimes. I'm sorry your going through so much. I'll pray God shows you the way.

HAHA! Look at Oliver in Dos's dress!! :)

  2. I'm with Lauren...I don't think it is a punishment either. I think that it is only through our trials that we learn to truly appreciate our blessings. Oliver is definitely one of those and so is Dos. I can't believe you tried Dos's dress on Oliver...hilarious! Oh and I love his big brother shirt too! :-)

  3. I do the same thing with pigging out and then I get so pissed at myself. I have never, ever been slender. I was born chubby and stayed that way. I have to fight to even lose 5 pounds. It sucks, huh?

LOVE the spaghetti pictures and LOVE Oliver in the dress. Wish I could come to MA for your baby shower. I have friends in MA, friends and family in NH and Michael's family in VT- it would be feasible, but not financially feasible.

  4. I do the same thing with eating. My mom once told me it was because of being depressed. Seriously! I am NOT depressed. I just really really LOVE food.
