Dear Josh: Thank you for being such a good husband and putting up with my nonsense, while pregnant and not pregnant. Thank you for being such a good daddy. Thank you for ignoring my crazy, stupid family.
Dear Oliver: Thank you for being so sweet the past week, although waking mommy up at 4 a.m. this morning was not so much fun. Thank you for laughing right before I took you to daycare and making up for starting mommy's day off so early.
Dear Aunt JCC: Please stop short changing yourself (I know you're reading!). Please remember all those sticky notes I left you and know I meant every single word of them. Please do not let your family bully you into doing things or making you feel bad because, as a wise person told me recently, family doesn't necessary have to share the same blood as you.
Dear Morning sickness: Please keep it coming, seriously. This way I have a sense of hope that this little bean, affectionately referred to as Dos, is still alive and thriving. I didn't realize how much I wanted you until the thought of losing you was put in front of me. So, although you are a mean, mean person morning sickness, I accept your challenge.
Dear PACE program: Please come through for me. I think I need this for my family (and my sanity).
So there's my very first Friday's Letters. Thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Hey Valerie!! :D (Oh,we've got the same name! :D)

What is PACE? Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt's a teacher licensure program down here. You get a job and receive your license concurrent with teaching. I am having an extremely hard time finding a job with my degree so I figured being an English teacher would be the next best thing.
ReplyDeleteVal, it's nice to meet you!!! I love meeting new people with the same name because it happens so infrequently. Thank you so much for the kind words!
ReplyDeletelet me know what is involved. My mom might be able to get some names/numbers for you. She worked in RCSD 1 for 32 years. Of course, that assumes you want district 1!
DeleteAhh,good luck with the new baby! Oliver is adorable!xo

ReplyDeleteI love your Friday letters. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute blog you have - and an even cuter little boy. I'm a mama to two little boys myself, and I love finding other mom-to-boys bloggers. I'm your newest follower. Nice to "meet" you. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you too! I thought all my life that having a boy wasn't what I wanted but now I feel so blessed. I cannot imagine not being a boy mom. Thanks so much for stopping by!!
