Patricia, now known as Nana T, might be one of the best moms on the planet. I know it's easy for me to say that considering she's MY mom but whatever. Ask people, they would agree. I'm an only child so my parents are really all that I've ever had growing up. Cousins, family members, etc...all those live too far away to visit terribly often so it's really been me and mom my whole life.
My mom is cool enough to travel with. We went on a cruise with the Zac Brown Band two years ago and it was one of the best times of my life. Notice how she's swimming with a stingray and those two young kids behind us are terrified. That's my mom...total ballsy.
Growing up, we may have been a little too close and, yes, there were times when I absolutely hated her. Now, she's one of my best friends and has been there for literally every important milestone of my life.
This was on Oliver's birthday. I don't think I have ever seen a more excited grandmother before.
So, on this day that we celebrate all our moms, I want to wish mine a very special day. I know things are sad for you with my GMA being so ill and I wish I could be with you. I love you very much and Oliver is such a lucky little guy to have you as his Nana T.
