It's Ok Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

I'm linking up with Amber again for another installment of It's Ok Thursday!

How is it already Thursday??  Did anyone else have a hard time getting up and back to the grind today or was that just me?

Without further ado...

It's Ok...

that I have to backspace every time I write ok because it makes me crazy to abbreviate ANYTHING.  Not really sure why but I can't stand it.  Don't even get me started on addressing envelopes.

that I woke up at 2:30 this morning not feeling well at all so I turned on the portable air conditioner we had to get for our bedroom.  Yep, just me laying in bed with an ac pointed right at me and all my business.

that I want to punch my mother in the throat.  I know that makes me sound like a horrible person and I'm sorry.  She's just really starting to piss me off lately.  Do not boo hoo to me about how you miss Oliver but make no effort whatsoever to move and get yourself close to him.

to daydream about this year coming to a close so I can meet Dos already.

to complain about feeling bad, even when you know nobody wants to hear it anymore.  Okay, so maybe that's one I'm really working on.

to laugh at Oliver when he has a meltdown because, come on little dude, what part of your life is THAT difficult where you need to scream bloody murder?  Have you looked in your closet lately?  Do you not know how awesome your bedroom is?  Sheesh.

that I've already started to think in my head about what I want to do for Oliver's birthday.  Go ahead, you can judge me, it's okay.

to look at other women and think man I really married a perfect man.  Seriously, he painted my toenails last night.

you can be jealous!

I do hope everyone had a very safe and happy 4th of July!  I can't wait to read all about everyone's update and see how they dressed everyone up so cute.

  1. Do you know when I started planning Elliott's 1st birthday party? On January 1st. We can totally bounce ideas off each other. I can't wait to read your blog post about Oliver's party in December! My theme is going to be snowmen/winter. Generic, I know. Are you on pinterest? I have a whole board for Elliott's party.

I also laugh when Elliott is having a meltdown. Ha ha.

    1. Oh my goodness, that would be so awesome!! I've never planned a child's birthday before so I feel like I'm so stuck. I thought about doing a shark party because I'm in love with them but I'm hoping to do that for him when he's old enough and likes them too. So, I literally have NO CLUE what to do. I am on Pinterest although I'm not 100% sure how to find people on there.

    3. Natalie has amazing parties. I am grateful that Spencer's birthday is one month AFTER Hadley's so I can get my party done before she has his!

  3. Oh yes, I had Brody's 1st birthday party planned before he was born...okay not totally but I had a good idea what I wanted! I guess that's a by-product of waiting 4 years between children and loving children's birthday parties. My advice is make the first one everything YOU want it to be because he isn't old enough to "get" it yet...it's mostly for you anyway! Sharks would be very cute! Yes, pinterest has great ideas, and I also had a whole board for my ideas. I made a lot of his decorations and party hats myself.

Oh my, if my husband painted my toenails, there is no telling what I'd look like...most likely a freak show! ;-)
